The Power of Gratitude

At the start of 2025, I chose to focus on building new habits rather than setting a traditional New Year’s resolution. The practice that shaped my year the most was writing down one thing I was grateful for each day on a bright, colorful square of paper. Now, as I look at the container nearly overflowing with these notes, I’m struck by how such a simple daily ritual has grown into a vivid, joyful reminder of the many blessings in my life.

- Time with friends and family

- A random laugh

- An accomplishment

- A kind word received

- Traveling somewhere new

Though each moment may have seemed small on its own, together they made a meaningful difference over the course of the year and a beautiful display of what makes life good. I realize I might not have noticed them at all had I not taken the time to pause and reflect.

Now, as I turn the page to a new chapter titled “2026,” I find myself wondering: what should my daily reflection be? What are your suggestions?
